so i'm a very avid cosplayer, and i also restore vintage toys! these are what i most enjoy doing. i was just wondering if anyone would be interested in these type of commissions?
for props and costumes, i can create armor with worbla and eva foam (i am still somewhat new to this)
(the third one was my old one - it used aluminum tape to create a chrome effect, though the tape would crease. this will work with more rigid pieces, but for what i needed it for it was less desirable)
as well as sewing from custom patterns!
the general leia vest, belt buckle, and ring were all made custom. almost the entirety of the anakin outfit was custom made aside from the saber, belt, and glove. i can take detail shots of this if needed, this is the best picture i have of the costume in action. it's extremely screen accurate, and i have even been approached by someone in the 501st legion to submit it for approval.
and i also restore vintage toys sometimes! my latest project is this 1979 kenner millenium falcon (which is still being worked on! i'm waiting for some parts to show up)
before vs what its currently at. it arrived extremely dirty, the motor didn't work, the cockpit canopy was warped, and the landing ramp was broken and missing the struts. someone had also written on the bottom in sharpie. as it stands i have thoroughly washed it, removed some of the stickers to clean off the hardened glue and restick them, sanded the contacts on the motor so it now works again, and i have ordered a replacement ramp, gunner glass, and top gun
